Hi! I am from Turkey.  I would say a nano.  It has a screen so you can see the songs and movies.

I think that ipod nano is better. It has good screen, you can listen songs and watch films. You can choose color too.

I would have to disagree with you, because if you got caught with it you would get into loads of trouble. I also used to have a shuffle and I lost it a month later. But I do need to agree with you that it is easier to carry around. I am getting a nano, or the new iPod touch for Christmas this year. It is going to be awesome!

I would have to agree. I got a nano when I was 9 years old and I still have it. I call it my dinosaur but I think even my little first generation is better than a shuffle because of the screen. Also the camera now is probably pretty "handy" to have around. And yes it holds many more songs than a shuffle. If you are trying to get one just because they are cool looking or something (I have no clue why someone would do that) then either one would work, they are both nice.

I have an ipod touch and a shuffle, I like them both! The shuffle is great if you are just looking for a randoms songs, I like the ipod touch better cause it has a screen and you can look at what song you are playing. I would say I like the touch better cause you can play games on it!

Personally if you want an ipod that lasts a long time get a nano.

I've had the same nano for about 3 years and its still in good shape.

Definitely the nano. I have one and it is awesome because it holds 4,000 songs and it has a camera on it.

I like the nano. I have it on shuffle anyways but i just like to see what song its playing.

Nano is way better. I have one and you can get videos and songs so it's a lot better. It also can hold more songs so I like nano way better and the shuffle doesn' even have a screen so you like can't see what song you're listening to!

Nano is better. I have one myself. A shuffle just mixes them around and doesn't have a screen. If you get a nano you have a screen and you can see what song you want to play.

It is hard to use without a screen.  On the shuffle, You can't play games. I think the nano is worth the extra money.  It has better quality!

The ipod shuffle is the best. It may be small but you will be able to clip it on your clothes and able to sneak it into class and walk around with it. The ipod shuffle holds all the songs I need anyway.  It's easier to download songs onto. I recommend the ipod shuffle.  It's also cheaper.

I like the nano because it holds more.  The shuffle is too small so you might lose it.
