Re: Digital Christmas card exchange with UK students

Hi, Katharine. My name is Ken Greene and I have a group of 33 students here in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, ages 13-14 who would love to participate in the project. I just signed up for an ePals account this weekend so I understand if it is too late for us to participate. Please let me know if there is room for us. Thank You!

PS Feel free to take a look at our blog - http://rmsmm8.blogspot.com/ - and web site - http://web.me.com/knrgreene/RMSMusicMediaNetwork/Welcome.html - to see some of my students' classroom exchanges and other projects. If the TWWA/Christmas Card project doesn't work out, maybe we could connect for another project.

Re: Digital Christmas card exchange with UK students

    Kate,

Hi, I have twenty students participating in the digital card exchanges.  We will be delighted to send your students one digital card each, too.  If you are interested, please send me the names of twenty students and I will send you the names of twenty students by Tuesday of next week.  Also, you mentioned posting to a blog in your profile.  What about posting student digital cards to a wiki space.  I will create the wiki and give you access rights and then you can post your students cards.  If you have never worked with a wiki, the process is very easy and I will be more than willing to assist.  Let me know.  I am thinking about asking the other two digital card participates too.  :-) USA, Laura Howell

    Hello,

Thank you very much. It just means we will make the cards on the computer, and send them via email with a typed greeting. We would love to hear from you.

Hello, Thank you very much. What is your school? Shall we send one  card to your class or one from each pupil?

Re: Digital Christmas card exchange with UK students

    Hi Katharine,

We are planning to start TWWA project on february 2010, but meanwhile we will be very glad to share christmas cards with your group. I have 2 /23 classroom students aged 10 and 11, and they will be very excited to start exchanging information with your students. I usually work with teams, so the amount of students doesnt mind.

What kind of information or cards you mean by digital cards?

Please let me know if you will like to work with us, I think Mexico culture will be interesting for your students as UK for mine.

    Thanks and regards

    Ana
